Nick Green |
Wrestling since 1997, Nick Green has over a decade of experience training, competing, and coaching for local level tournaments to world class events. At the age of thirteen, Nick started his wrestling career with the St. Cecilia Tigers wrestling team. His first season was very challenging for him and it didn’t turn out anywhere near the way Nick wanted; winning only five matches during the entire season. He knew that hard work, dedication and learning from his mistakes would be the key to his success and the way to turn his career around. In his second season, Nick won the most improved male wrestler award. Later, he became a member of Team Edmonton, Team Alberta and won numerous City and Provincial Championships. A few of his major accomplishments and personal highlights of his wrestling career were competing in the Canadian Wrestling Championships, where he finished fifth in both the Freestyle and Greco-Roman divisions and representing Canada at the USA Grand National Wrestling Championships, where he finished fourth in the Freestyle division and third in the Greco-Roman division. Ranking both nationally and internationally has opened many doors for Nick, giving him opportunities to train throughout North America with World Champions, Olympians, and MMA superstars. Currently, he is using his skills and years of experience to help teach and train the future stars of wrestling and MMA. Nick’s students learn that ‘anything is possible when you set your mind to it’. |
