Wrestling is a combat sport that involves grappling techniques such as clinch, throws, takedowns and pins. The goal is to gain and maintain position of your opponent. During the class, the instructor will lead a warm-up consisting of jogging and movement repetitions used during class. The instructor will then teach new techniques allowing the class time to practice with drills on a partner. At the end of class, the students will wrestle "live" trying to gain and maintain position on each other.
